The McCann family owns and operates Silver Tree Marina, and both are very active on committees and organizations at Deep Creek Lake. Travis and Lauren live on Rock Lodge Road with their two young sons, dog, and cat.
For Sale - Flying Scot #80
The Deep Creek Watershed Foundation, Inc., is offering for sale Flying Scot #80 which has been donated to the Foundation for resale in support of Foundation projects.
The Foundation has determined to sell the boat in a way to maximize the return. A Sterling trailer is included with no title. There is a small two horsepower Johnson outboard motor and motor bracket that attaches to the transom of the Flying Scot available. We are listing the motor and bracket separately from the boat and trailer. Also, a 16-foot Old Town canoe of recent vintage is available separately. There is a $3,000 reserve on the boat and trailer, a $900 reserve on the canoe, and a $400 reserve on the motor, and a $4,000 reserve on a package of all three items. The condition and sea worthiness of these items is unknown. They are offered as is-where is.
The Deep Creek Watershed Foundation (Foundation) is a non-profit Maryland corporation formed under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code to accept tax-deductible donations. The Foundation's mission is to support, promote, and advance scientific study, environmental protection and educational programs relating to the Deep Creek Watershed.
The Foundation will receive indications of interest to the attention of Morgan France via email to email@example.com. The boat and appurtenances are available for viewing by appointment. Bidders will email offers to the above address. On 15 August 2020 at midnight (24:00) the Foundation will determine the identity of the successful bidder. The Foundation will notify the successful bidder via email on 17 August. The successful bidder must forward the entire amount of the bid by bank wire to the Foundation. The wire must be received by 21 August 2020 and a Bill of Sale will be provided. In the event that the successful bidder fails to provide the funds in a timely manner the successful bid will become null and void. The Foundation will notify the second highest bidder with a new schedule for payment, and so on until the Foundation is paid for the boat and trailer, the canoe and the motor with bracket.
